They’re launching a groundbreaking new platform for trading interest rate swaps on perpetual funding rates, and they're building a team of passionate, driven individuals to make it a success.

About the Role:

We're seeking a sharp, highly motivated Algorithmic Trading Strategist to join their core team and play a crucial role in the launch and growth of the new platform. You'll be working directly with the founders and a small team of experienced engineers to help design, build, and optimize market-making systems that will contribute to the liquidity on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trading System Design & Implementation:

  • Help with the design and implementation of a robust and scalable trading system, including monitoring and alerting systems.

  • Identify potential points of failure, performance bottlenecks, and areas for optimization within the trading system.

• Strategy Development & Improvement:

  • Refine and improve existing market-making strategies

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities and strategies.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with co-founders and engineers to align trading strategies with the overall priorities.

  • Communicate technical concepts and trading performance clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and trading strategies (market making, arbitrage, etc.).

• Experience with programming languages for trading systems (Python, Typescript, Go, Rust …)

• Experience implementing or improving trading strategies.

• Good understanding of funding rates and cash-and-carry strategies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• An interest in DeFi and the future of finance.
