Your Responsibilities:

  • Define technical direction and architectural standards for frontend codebases to ensure scalability, modularity, and adherence to the latest patterns and technologies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design and product teams to deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences that solve customer problems.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality UI components, libraries, hooks, APIs, and other frontend tools for internal use.

  • Demonstrate backend curiosity by diving into backend systems to design full-stack features or debug API and socket-related issues.

  • Foster a strong engineering culture at Bluefin by mentoring engineers, participating in code and architectural reviews, and leading initiatives to enhance developer productivity and team efficiency.

Job requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in building secure, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  • Expertise in performant state management and understanding its impact on application re-renders. Familiarity with tools like ReactJS, Redux, Zustand, or similar frameworks.

  • Experience handling high-traffic applications (e.g., over 1,000 socket events per minute).

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with complex and evolving requirements.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on technical documentation and structured design proposals.
